power
i am sitting here translating course notes from english into german. to re-create a course i took for my mother and brother.it's quite crazy. translating text for an hour every week, and then talking to my family for about 3 hours to give them this experience.
why? because it is a very powerful course i take, and because they do not have the opportunity to take it. it gives them power over their life and their circumstances. and it creates closeness and communication within my family. it makes me feel alive, because i do something for another human being - and making a difference beyond my self-interest.
